Michael FitzGerald is the Founder and Managing Principal of Worthy Communities Group, a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, improving, and operating mobile home parks and multifamily communities across the Southeast.

An active investor since 2012, Michael has built a well-rounded track record across single-family, multifamily, hospitality, and mobile home park assets. Prior to launching Worthy Communities Group, he founded and operated a successful direct-to-seller acquisitions company beginning in 2018, completing more than 350 real estate transactions and leading numerous redevelopment projects.

Today, Michael owns and operates 150+ rental units spanning Airbnb properties, multifamily buildings, and mobile home parks. His mission is to grow Worthy Communities Group into a best-in-class operator known for elevating community environments and improving the quality of life for the residents who call them home.

A former Division I and professional soccer player, Michael brings the discipline, intensity, and competitive spirit of his athletic career into his work every day. He is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker and lives in Asheville with his wife and three children. When he’s not improving communities, you’ll find him out trail running and enjoying the beauty of Western North Carolina.
